Building stronger bonds: Merus Power’s sunny team-building day
On 17 May, our team kicked off the day with some training before enjoying a sunny afternoon of team-building activities. It was the perfect setting to strengthen our connections and enjoy the outdoors together.
After our CEO, Kari Tuomala, welcomed everyone, we began the day with a factory tour to learn about our various operations. The tour featured seven stations, each staffed by an expert, allowing employees to ask questions freely. This was especially beneficial for our quickly growing team, helping to understand daily tasks across different departments.
After lunch, we visited our operational battery energy storage system at LEMENE Energy Society and our largest project to date—the battery energy storage system currently under construction for Taaleri in Lempäälä.
After visiting the sites, we headed to Vaihmalan Hovi, a charming local restaurant in Lempäälä, which provided an idyllic setting for our afternoon activities. Our employees chose from a variety of options based on their interests: an outdoor escape game, a team competition in archery tag, or simply relaxing outdoors with coworkers. There was something enjoyable for everyone, allowing us to connect beyond our usual work groups.
Following the activities, we enjoyed a scrumptious dinner and refreshments at Vaihmalan Hovi. As the evening drew to a close, some of us chose to extend our time together by enjoying the summer atmosphere in Tampere, while others departed after a delightful afternoon. The day was truly memorable, and we eagerly anticipate the next opportunity for further team-building.
