Merus Power joins Finnish business delegation on state visit to Egypt
Merus Power is participating in the Finnish President’s state visit to Egypt as part of a delegation of Finnish companies. The aim of the visit is to strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries and to promote business opportunities for Finnish companies in rapidly developing markets.
Egypt is a growing energy market where industrialization and extensive infrastructure investments are significantly increasing demand for electricity and raising requirements for the reliability of power systems. In particular, energy-intensive sectors, such as the steel industry, and critical infrastructure require high-quality electricity and uninterrupted power grids.
Merus Power has a strong foothold in Egypt, where the company has been operating since 2015 in collaboration with its local partner, ETA Electric. The company’s power quality solutions support demanding industrial and infrastructure sites by improving grid stability, energy efficiency, and uninterrupted production.
“Participating in the state visit offers an excellent opportunity to deepen cooperation and highlight the role of Finnish energy technology in the development of industry and infrastructure in rapidly growing markets,” says Kari Tuomala, CEO of Merus Power.
The state visit offers Merus Power the opportunity to strengthen existing partnerships and identify new opportunities for cooperation in Egypt’s developing energy and industrial markets.
