Merus Power among Finland’s fastest-growing technology companies
Merus Power has been ranked 36th on Deloitte’s 2026 Technology Fast 50 list, which highlights Finland’s 50 fastest-growing technology companies. The company’s revenue grew by 237 percent between 2022 and 2025. Based on its 2025 revenue, Merus Power is the third-largest company on the list. This recognition highlights the company’s strong growth in recent years, but its sights are already set on the future: during the next strategic period, 2027–2030, the goal is to transform this strong growth into an even more profitable and international business.
Rapid growth on a significant scale
Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 list shows that rapid growth and significant business scale can go hand in hand. Merus Power ranks among the top five companies by revenue on the 2026 list, alongside Oura, ICEYE, Sensofusion, and IQM.
This group represents the international success of Finnish technology entrepreneurship across various industries. It includes both internationally renowned unlisted growth companies and publicly traded technology firms. We are proud that Merus Power is part of this distinguished group representing Finnish technology growth.
We also congratulate Capalo AI, the list’s winner, and Enico, which ranked eighth, on their impressive growth!
From rapid growth to profitable growth
Deloitte’s recognition is a testament to our long-term efforts and Merus Power’s ability to scale its business based on its own technology. In the next phase of growth, the goal is not only to grow rapidly but also to build even stronger profitability and international competitiveness.
During Merus Power’s 2027–2030 strategic period, the focus will be on transforming growth into strong profitability. The goal is to continue growing and achieve 160 million euros in revenue and an EBITDA margin of at least 12 percent relative to revenue by 2030.
Achieving these goals requires not only capitalizing on market growth but also commercial excellence, competitive products, and efficient delivery capabilities. Merus Power is focusing on business scalability, productization, and repeatable delivery models that enable profitable growth.
The three key drivers of the next phase of growth are the internationalization of the energy storage business, strengthening the offering and market position of power quality solutions, and multiplying the service business.
International success based on Finnish energy storage expertise
Merus Power has built a strong position in the Finnish energy storage market. The next step is to expand this success into international markets, particularly in Europe.
Growth is driven by proprietary technology, local partners, and commercial operating models tailored to different markets. Standardized and modular solutions support cost-effective, repeatable deliveries and profitable growth.
At the same time, Merus Power is expanding its portfolio of power quality solutions and strengthening its commercial presence in selected growth markets. Electrification, data centers, and new energy needs in the industrial sector are driving demand for solutions that ensure power quality and the reliable operation of power systems.
A third significant growth opportunity is the services business. Merus Power aims to multiply the volume of its service business by developing lifecycle services, digital solutions, and long-term customer relationships. The growing installed base of equipment provides a strong foundation for recurring and profitable business.
The technology needed for the energy transition
Merus Power’s growth is driven by long-term technology development and the ability to solve challenges in customers’ electrical systems.
Renewable energy production and electricity consumption do not always align. Merus Power’s energy storage systems bring flexibility to the power system and enable more efficient utilization of renewable energy. Power quality solutions, in turn, enhance the reliability, compliance with standards, and energy efficiency of power grids.
The foundation of this success lies in the company’s robust proprietary technology platforms, in-depth expertise in electrical engineering, and a customer-centric corporate culture. By combining these with strong commercial expertise and efficient delivery capabilities, Merus Power is building the next phase of its growth.
The Technology Fast 50 recognition reflects just how far Merus Power has already come. During the 2027–2030 strategic period, the goal is to demonstrate how growth, profitability, and international technology leadership can go hand in hand.
