Fast Growth of Merus Power awarded by Kauppalehti
The Finnish financial newspaper Kauppalehti has been on tour in Finland to find the 5 top growing companies. Merus Power was chosen as a winner for the area of South-Ostrobothnia, Ostrobothnia and Central Ostrobothnia.
The research and analysis division of Kauppalehti, Balance Consulting, conducted an analysis of the growing companies in Finland. The final candidates were evaluated based on growth of revenue, innovativeness, international orientation, and creation of new jobs.
The article discusses the foundation of Merus Power, which is harmonic filtering and dynamic reactive power compensation. Kari Tuomala, the managing director of Merus Power, stresses that they key aspects to the success of Merus Power lie in continuous product development and high technological knowledge of the employees. We have a true aspiration to enhance the quality of electricity, Tuomala says. Our solutions have solved problems in different sectors; the De Beers diamond dredging ship case in South Africa is mentioned in the article.
