The Merus® PCS (Power Conversion System) sets a new standard for energy storage and grid support with its unmatched 5 and 10 MVA AC block capacity. Designed for modern energy systems, it delivers maximum performance and efficiency under a single grid connection.

We are at the forefront of grid-forming technology, with Merus® ESS, the first TSO-approved grid-forming BESS in the Nordics, built using Merus® PCS.

Key features of Merus® PCS

  • Grid-forming capability: The first TSO-approved (Transmission System Operator) grid-forming BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) in the Nordics is built with Merus® PCS technology.

Merus Power offers two flexible installation options designed to meet different project requirements. Systems are available in 5 MVA and 10 MVA configurations, featuring either a single or double Merus® PCS string. Both options include a transformer and are easily scalable if higher power capacity is needed. The Merus® PCS is fully designed and manufactured in-house, ensuring top-quality performance, reliability, and seamless integration with your grid.
